The inaugural Resurface North retreat was held at The Quarterdeck Resort with surf stops at both White Point and Cherry Hill (but not Summerville). Participants included 5 veterans, 1 firefighter, and 1 RCMP officer, along with Maximilian the service dog extraordinaire. 

Building on the momentum of our first event, this retreat included 2 nights accommodation at White Point Beach Resort. Larger cottages and a longer stay allowed for more informal peer-to-peer interaction. The natural environment was incorporated into psychotherapy through multiple experiential exercises. Participants also enjoyed yoga and sound healing as complimentary approaches over the two days. There was a real spirit of ALOHA with this group!
